The Faces of New Jersey Project: Resident #5 Rick Cornwall

Meet Rick, I’ve know him since my school days. Rick is from one town over and would sometimes hang out at the basketball courts. We have a mutual friend named Jimmy. We would hang out and shoot the shit from time to time. I contacted Rick through Facebook and asked him to be part of my project. Rick agreed but wanted to incorporate his tattoos because the artwork on his skin is the best representation of who he is. I said ok but you have to bring your custom stretch. That is the bicycle in the background. Rick is known for being inked up but also known for having some sick bikes. You cant judge a book by its cover, Rick is the perfect example of that statement. Thanks man for battling the elements in a t-shirt.

Thats a great representation of Rick, ive grown up with Ricky (as all who were close to him call him) since we were in elementary school. He used to joke about how one day we would be related because my sister Amanda and he were bf gf once a long time ago. Who ever knew that his older brother would marry my older sister and it would somehow be possible. I remember at the wedding looking at eachother and saying “close enough huh?” I remember we spent so many days together on the streets sharing everthing from a room to crash for the night, to the clothes on our backs.. that we used to hear eachothers last names shouted for blocks in Gloucester from kids getting us mistaken for one another. Ricky has always stood out from the rest and held his ownership of his unique ink and style head high. He was always the dude with the crazy 3 wheelers and lowriders who looked way too old to be in school with the rest of us, haha. This guy probably knows more people in our county then the Mayor himself, and everyone knows who Cornwall is when hes rollin up like a Boss on a custom. High five to my brother Ricky, keep being you man.
